Strawberry Shortcake Pie
If you stopped in yesterday you saw the shortcake crust and probably guessed I'd fill it with strawberries and whipped cream. If not, SUPRISE! All it takes is slicing up some strawberries and filling your crust with whipped cream. The crust worked really well, but I need to bake a couple more to get it right. What I really liked was how flaky it was. Experimentation will be necessary.
Yum Yum Tastyface.
I thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to sprinkle some powdered sugar on my shortcake crust to start things off.
Layer some sliced strawberries in your crust.
Cover that layer of strawberries wth whipped cream.
Another layer of strawberries, and then another layer of whipped cream.
Grab your remaining strawberries, hull them, and mountain them on top of your layer of whipped cream.
Fill your piping bag with whipped cream, and apply as you see fit.
Point of view parachuting down.
I thought I'd make it snow with some powdered sugar.
Epic landscape.
If you don't like whipped cream you probably won't like this pie, but if you do, you're in for a good time. The flakiness of the crust was awesome.
