Peanut Butter Banana Pie
Peanut butter banana sandwiches are awesome. I don't see how a peanut butter banana pie could be anything else but awesome. I'm all about awesome. I'm going to change my middle name to awesome. That'd be super awesome. Pie!
Grab you ingredients.
In a saucepan empty your sugar.
Add your cornstarch.
Add your salt.
Mix together.
Gradually introduce your milk while mixing well.
Put over medium heat and stir constantly.
Stir until it comes to a boil and begins to thicken.
Grab your beaten eggs and add about 1/3 of a cup of your custard and mix together well.
Mix until your egg and custard are thoroughly enjoying each other.
Pour your egg mixture in with the rest of the custard.
Stir on medium heat for about another minute or until custard is nice and thick.
Remove from heat and add your peanut butter.
Mix your peanut butter in well.
Add your vanilla extract.
Give your custard one final good mix.
Grab your pie crust and layer the bottom with banana slices..
Spoon your peanut butter filling over your bananas.
Smooth out your custard topping and chill in your refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
