Blueberry Cherry Pie
Yumtastic tastefest. What I really like about this pie is how the blueberries fit perfectly into your pitted cherries. After tossing them around for a bit I found that the blueberries made their way snuggly into the cherries. I picked one up and popped it into my mouth and woo dawgy flavor explosion. As you'll notice the top crust is an odd shape of blue and red. Today is the Final of the Champions League in Rome where FC Barcelona will battle it out against Manchester United. I wanted to bake a pie to celebrate this occasion and the soon to be new Champions FC Barcelona WHEN they win. I tried to make the strips to represent the Barcelona colors but it did not work. Doesn't matter though because now I know. Visca Barça!!!

Alrighty so here's what you're going to do.
Grab five strips and lay here as I've layed the blue ones.
Now grab strips 2 and 4 and fold them back.
Lay down another strip, your red one, across the middle and fold your blue strips back.
Fold back strips 1, 3, and 5 back as shown above.
Lay down a red strip and fold your blue strips back over your red strip you laid down.
Now fold the other side of strips 1, 3, and 5.
Lay down another red strip.
Fold your blue strips back over your red strip.
Pinch your strips against the bottom crust around the outer ring of your pie.
Bake for an hour. Allow to cool. Serve it up.
