Blackberry Sour Cream Pie
This pie is AMAZING. Once again my buddy Robert wanted to take a pie in to work to share with his coworkers, and I was happy the help. This is a great pie, and one that's easy to prepare and bake. I've made this pie before, and while it came out well, and was very tasty, I was kind of sloppy in preparing it. Now with a lot of practice I'm giving it a second go, and this time it came out looking marvelous. You should definitely give this pie a try.
This is one of the best pies I have made, and one of the easiest. All you need to make your sour cream filling is mix together your sour cream with your cup of sugar, flour, and salt. As for the crumb topping, all you have to do is loosely mix together your bread crumbs, 2 tbsp sugar, and melted butter together. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
Place your blackberries in your crust.
Pour your sour cream mixture over that, and allow it to settle.
Sprinkle your crumbs over your pie filling, and place in your oven.
Bake for an hour and cover the top of your pie with aluminum foil for the last 20-15 minutes. Allow to cool, and serve.
